BR 03-02: A Picture to Remember

Cristina began to slow down for the traffic lights. The traffic in the city center was terrible. She didn't work far from the gym but the road had so many traffic lights. She stopped and looked into the car next to her. She saw two men in the car. She couldn't believe her eyes. (p.7)

     Today, I read Picture to Remember which is Cambridge English Reader series, Y.L 2.6. This is kind of thriller.
     One day, Cristina was offered important job for the first time in her life. She loves art and especially impressive one. The job is to send some paintings from Paris. She couldn't stop thinking about it even she is riding bike. At the same time, she had accident. She couldn't remember the situation during her accident. Actually, before the accident, she saw two men who had gun in his hand. That's the start of this story. She couldn’t remember what was going on. But these man knows her face. They tried to kill her to hide the murder.
     I’m sorry for her being chased by them and also having a big accident.

Rich Man,Poor Man

『Rich Man, Poor Man』      I read ”Rich Man, Poor Man" today. This book series is Macmillan Readers Beginner, YL1.4. This story is literary expressing the gap between the rich and the poor.      The old and poor man accepted a letter from his son who has been working in other country. There was check in the letter. He wanted to change into cash but he couldn't because he didn't have ID card. To get money from his son, he had to do many things; go to the central city by bus for three hours, take a picture of his face and so on. He was in trouble. Then rich man appeared. What do you think the rich man going to do for the old man???
